referred to as the best part of London. It has an extensive

The Longest Theatre Performance by an Individual
Acting on stage in front
of an audience itself isn’t an easy feat but wait till you hear about Adrian
Hilton who performed for 110 hours and 46 minutes. Yes, you read that correct.
Adrian had broken the record in July 1987 by dictating the entire works of none
other than Shakespeare. He took part in the Bardathon that lasted for four and
a half days. Some of Adrian’s visitors included Richard Griffiths and Prince
Phillip. He broke the record at the original location of the Globe Theatre in
memory of Shakespeare.
The Fastest Theatrical Production
Another world record set
in West End is for the fastest theatrical production. It is set by Sharpe
Academy of Theatre Arts and took a record 15 hours to produce it. Annie was
performed and the school finished learning the songs, sourcing props and
costumes, started the show and finished it within just 15 hours. It is quite
remarkable to do so.
The Most Visitors for a Musical in a Single Theatre
This title is one which
West End is most well-known for, it is the Starlight Express
which has attracted an audience of 13,044,148 people and counting. It is
possible to have so many visitors in a single theatre in West End. It is based on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical which is
about a child’s train set that actually comes to life. It even has a special
home in Germany. It is known as Das Starlight Express Theater which is located
in Bochum. The theatre has a history of 29 years in the running and it only
shows Starlight Express in Deutsch/ German. They have even performed the
musical in English once.
The Largest Simultaneous Performance of a Show in Multiple Locations
There is a show produced
in West End which has been performed simultaneously in multiple locations and
it is none other than by Stagecoach Theatre Arts. They have done 66
performances.
